Amazingly rare find! These are 5 original reversible Pokemon plush toys from 1999. They have zippers on the bottom and can be enclosed in their pokeballs. The tags read Tomy - Made in China on one side and Nintendo Creatures - GameFreak - TVTokyo - ShoPro - JR Kikaku on the other side. These were not the US distributed Hasbro plushes, these were made in China and sold in Japan. Estate sale find along with other items sold in Japan in 1999 - 2005 period. The Charmander plush was never sold in the US and it is likely extremely rare, could not find any other known photos. Must buy all 5.
Each plush measures roughly 4"w x 5"h. Condition is Excellent given the age. Colors are vibrant. Photos are actual items and have not been enhanced. Very small amount of cracking on the eyes but barely noticeable. They show their age a bit. They've been disinfected but maybe could use a light steam cleaning, though I'm not an expert on cleaning vintage plush. The Pikachu is missing its white Pokeball button in the center, but other than that, it is intact with no rips. The Pikachu tail is sewn to the back along with the right arm to the side. Usually these are torn but this one is in tact. Amazing display pieces. Would recommend UV shield acrylic displays. Just an unbelievable vintage original 1999 Pokemon find. I honestly don't want to sell them, but they could be yours today for the buy now price!
